4 – Quattro (quat-tro)

5 – Cinque (cin-que)

6 – Sei (sei)

7 – Sette (set-te)

8 – Otto (ot-to)

9 – Nove (no-ve)

10 – Dieci (die-ci)

 

*Uno is the only number which adapts to gender. We use “uno” with a masculine noun and “una” with a feminine one.


 

C’è una bottiglia sul tavolo – There’s a bottle on the table.

Ho visto uno squalo – I saw a shark.

Mia figlia ha sei anni – Mi daughter is six years old.

Mark ha due macchine – Mark has two cars.

Ci sono dieci bambini in classe – There are ten children in the classroom.

Laura ha mangiato otto polpette – Laura ate eight meatball.

Ci sono sette tipi di vino sul menù – There are seven types of wine on the menu.

Quanto fa due più tre? – What’s two plus three?

Ha fatto sette gol in una partita – He scored seven goals in one game.

John ha compiuto nove anni Martedì – John turned nine on Tuesday.
